Prithvi Shaw’s Team India began their U-19 World Cup in brilliant style as they defeated Australia by 100 runs. Shaw led from the front with a brilliant 94, which hoisted India to 328 for seven.
The young Indian bowlers also impressed with their pace as Australians were rolled over for 228. Shivam Mavi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Ishan Porel stood out.
Former India captain Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter and tagged India captain Virat Kohli, VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar and even said that the three could go on to play for India.
