Cricket Australia (CA) has confirmed that they are investigating the heated exchange feature David Warner and Quinton de Kock during the tea break

Cricket Australia (CA) has confirmed that they are investigating the heated exchange feature David Warner and Quinton de Kock during the tea break on Day 4 in Durban, after CCTV footage of the same has emerged.

Australia won the Test thanks to a good all-round performance, but the win was soured after the video footage of the above incident emerged.

The same took place between Warner and de Kock as the players were heading to the dressing rooms. Warner had to be restrained by teammate Usman Khawaja and was later dragged by captain Steve Smith. South Africa captain Faf du Plessis, and other South African players were also spotted.

"CA is aware of reports of an incident between players in Durban. CA is working to establish the facts of what has occurred and will not be commenting further until that has been done,” a Cricket Australia spokesperson was stated as saying in a Cricbuzz report.

Dr Mohammed Moosajee, South Africa's team manager, said in a statement, "It's rather unfortunate that the incident took place and certainly not in the spirit of the game. The match referee had spoken to us after the day's play. We will await any further communication from the ICC around this incident.”
